SUGO fully complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, and all communications regarding the student's progress and schedule are routed exclusively to the parent's registered email or phone number.
2. Zero-Pressure Classroom Policy (No Cameras & Muted)
To protect student identity and foster a highly focused, distraction-free environment:
- Cameras Off: Students are instructed to keep their webcams turned off during all live sessions. We do not capture, record, or store video feeds of students.
- Microphones Muted: Microphones are kept muted to avoid accidental background noise leakage and safeguard the privacy of the student's home environment. Participation is conducted via chat and interactive typing exercises.
3. Information We Collect
We only collect information necessary to deliver and coordinate our academic tutoring services:
- Parent/Guardian Contact Details: Name, email address, and phone number provided during registration.
- Student Profile Details: Grade level and academic track selection (e.g., Grades 3-8 Program, SAT Prep, or Adult English).
- Payment Information: Contributions made through our Pay As You Wish model are processed securely via third-party processors. We do not store financial card data on our servers.
4. How We Use Information
The collected information is used solely to:
- Coordinate live tutoring session links and schedules.
- Share academic materials, worksheets, and progress updates.
- Verify contributions and coordinate active registration cycles.
- We will never sell, lease, or distribute your personal contact details to third-party advertisers.
